Cairo IL is located in the Southernmost tip of Illinois, where the Ohio River and Mississippi River meet. Andy has strong roots in the Cairo, Illinois. This is the small City he was born and lived his entire life.
Reading during St Joe in the late 1960s, I read the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” where Mark Twain writes about “Huck and Jim travelling past Cairo, Illinois because they are trying to escape society and slavery”

The Spell with Mark Twain had begun! My appreciation of his humor and the very deep minding writings of Samuel Clemons increased as I was older.

During his business ventures, Andy named his first restaurant in 1987 as Mark Twain Restaurant, across from the County Courthouse. He also has used Mark Twain as his next enterprise in 1992 as him as an Illinois Managing Real Estate Broker as well as a Certified General Appraiser. Using the successful franchise of Mark Twain, he was developed as a successful Restaurant as Huckleberry’s Pub (www.huckleberryspub.com) and then again as Sawyer’s Subs.

Clarke is now considered to be “semi-retired” in 2023, but having the love of the Novels and the Quotes of Mark Twain he has now experimented with this new project as Twain, Clemons and Friends—Gifts from Mark Twain
